Who We Are Founded in 1945 by John A. Morefield, Sr., Morefield Communications one-man team got its start by furnishing houses of worship with internal communications systems (intercoms). Today, Morefield employs a staff of more than 150 skilled professionals and provides a wide range of communication technology systems encompassing data, voice, multimedia and security for businesses and organizations.
What We do Morefield is a regional communications integrator that designs, installs, and services communications technology using products from industry leaders such as Bosch, Cisco, Nortel, and Sanyo (view all our manufacturers). Since our founding, we have successfully implemented tens of thousands of solutions for municipalities, schools, houses of worship, banks, hospitals and businesses of all sizes.
How We Do It Morefield works closely with its clients to deliver quality data, voice, multimedia and security systems. We combine a complete analysis of the applications that our clients require with the newest available technologies. Our designs and solutions are focused on what makes sense for our clients, given their resources and goals.

In 1945, John A. Morefield, Sr. founded Morefield Communications as a communications business specializing in the sale of intercom systems. Over the past 60 years, the company has grown from a one-man operation to a regional leader of innovative communications technology with two locations and over 150 skilled and certified professional staff.
Morefield Communications specializes in integrating communication technology to help businesses and organizations improve their operations through increased productivity, efficiency and safety. Through the design, installation and service support of communication systems, we improve the way businesses communicate.
Morefield’s focus on quality manufactured products has resulted in a number of long term partnerships which we continue to build and foster today. Among Morefield’s more than 20 partners are industry leaders such as Cisco, Nortel, Iwatsu, Adtran, and Polycom. Through these partnerships we are able to give our clients competitive pricing, personnel training, full-engineering support, 24-hours-a-day emergency technical assistance, and field technical support.
Our systems, which include data networks, voice systems, multimedia systems, and security systems, and a variety of related integrated communications services, enhance the connectivity between organizations and their staff and customers.
Our skilled employees specialize in integrating multiple communications systems. Because we work with data, voice, multimedia, and security systems, our staff understands what products work best together. By integrating communications systems, we routinely connect businesses to their offices in other states and countries permitting these sites to share a single telephone and voice mail system. Office Locations Morefield is home to two Pennsylvania offices: one in Camp Hill and one in Altoona.
Revenues With over 7,000 customers, Morefield again generated revenues that exceeded the previous year's number from the design, installation and service of data, voice, multimedia, and security technology equipment.
Employees Morefield employs over 130 professionals. Its employees include a knowledgeable sales force, certified technicians, technical service representatives, engineers and other professional, managerial, and support staff.
Services and Products Morefield provides its customers with design, installation, and support services for a wide spectrum of communication technologies ranging from data and voice to multimedia and security. > Data includes routing, switching, security, and wireless products/services. > Voice include Internet over Protocol, wireless, platforms, and messaging products/services. > Multimedia includes sound and video as well as paging products/services. > Security includes CCTV and access control products/services.
