Network Field Engineer
Westmoreland, Cambria, Somerset Counties
What is this job?
You will install, configure, operate and troubleshoot routed and switched networks including:
- Converged networking - enterprise-wide networks consisting of PCs, workstations, servers, voice and video conferencing systems, communicating via LAN and WAN
- IP telephony - merging voice and data communications onto the same network
- Virtual Private Networks - delivering applications to branch offices and mobile employees
- Network management tools
- Cisco modular security solutions and intelligent networking technologies, such as MARS and IPS
- Routing and switching
- Wireless solutions - access points, bridges, controller based systems, WiFi phones
Are you qualified?
Ideal candidate has:
- thorough knowledge of WAN, LAN, VoIP
- extensive hands-on experience with Cisco gear
- CCNA certification
- ability to interact professionally with customers
- Microsoft experience and certification a plus
- Associate degree with training in data networking preferred
- PA drivers license and good driving record
